Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4: Forecasting of Announcement

Written By asasdad on January 15, 2013 | 3:36 PM

Sony and Microsoft are playing with the idea to breakdown the tradition and making the next-generation reveals away from E3. Before some weeks or even months of gaming's annual jamboree in June, Sony and Microsoft would unveiling their new featured machines known as PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720.

The story states, "The largest industry event E3 in June, but both companies to spotlight their system to their wants. E3 does not mean that it is without surprise the next generation. The preparation of Next Generation games will be announced at the end of this year."

This is true for E3's new console indicates something very clearly benefits. Media visits have already placed in, though journalists are just waiting for the announcement of invitation. World is thinking and talking about the games, because of E3.

There are also a some aspect of "rules" in order to E3 press conferences of Hardware. Hardware competition have lots of experience by making those stuff, the format is well known, & the risk of being completely impressed by competitor is minimum. It is more safe and more convenient choice.

But Sony and Microsoft will notice that, more than ever before, a disclosure of the console is a mass cultural event which may be worth your particular situation, instead of being a portion of E3. Most people possess game consoles spending more of time with them. This is a great history still does not require carry around in another event and, indeed, may be damaged by it.

Game consoles are also discussed, not just about the games, and their inclusion in an annual convention of games could diminish this aspect of the devices. You might or might not to agree with this line of thinking, but it is definitely in the form of console design and commercialization over the years, as well as using of console games.
Sony and Microsoft are seen as a much bigger game than just compete for the gaming market. Its main rival is Apple, which hosts its own events for major announcements. Apple has presented a strong case for independent product launches - who do not share the spotlight, launching its own schedule and not be beholden to convention time, and the general suggestion that their products are so important that they have rival. Are the games hardware companies feel diminished by host their big cheers as part of something else, and it is likely which in a few hours and a few miles of each other? Appears likely.

And here comes another aspect. In days gone E3 could make the front pages of major newspapers or a slot on the network evening news. Major announcements and new game consoles would name-check in these stories. However, a new console hardware either team is big big news in itself. No media outlet can afford to ignore this story. So an announcement at E3 runs the risk of being lumped in with the story of a catch-all 'latest video game material ", while having to share the ad with a direct rival.

How much better to own completely ad, to get some space to all other game-related noise.

If, as is being suggested by Vice Sony's President, Hiroshi Sakamoto, an announcement was made before E3, also gives the games they publish third additional opportunities to take the next generation of ads without the kind of secret debilitating that would surround a pitch-E3 hardware. And of course, Sony and Microsoft still have E3 conference to talk about games and other things that were behind the earlier revelation. Extra publicity is good.

Of course, there are the problems. The company wants to go first, or there is another advantage in being? But these issues are present in the E3. 'Winners' E3 media by insisting - like many of us - Hardware known companies have the pillow. Billion dollars to the launching crazy Convention (Convention to select a winner, not literally, E3 Convention is a wonderful event.) - For more than one initial expectations better executed

This event might called a media event, but people who work in the media is about, PlayStation and Xbox users and fans is about.

While these events are quite interesting, and it is a great privilege to attend them, its location just before E3, stacked one above the other is actually a kind of pain in the back for journos to be submitted within stories from one conference to another, typically with a large amount of glue in question. You can feel a lot like air travel. There is something good to spend a day in one story, one of the biggest stories of the decade.

Whatever console companies decide it is clear that at some point in the coming months, we will all be watching the new consoles which was released for the first time, hopefully without spoilers leak. Where and when ads are done, everything is going to be awesome last.
