The First Xbox by Microsoft

Microsoft produced a first gaming console named "Xbox" on November 15, 2001 in North America, on February 22, 2002 in Japan, and on March 14, 2002 in Australia and Europe. Sony's PlayStation 2, Nintendo's GameCube and Sega's Dreamcast was in the competition with Xbox.

In November 2002, Xbox Live service was launched by Microsoft for Xbox players to play games online with the other online Xbox players if the subscription has been made. Because of Xbox Live featured service, Xbox become so popular around the world.

In November, 2005 Microsoft launched a new gaming console namely Xbox 360 which is Xbox successor, So that Xbox has stopped hanging in Japan (2005), Europe (2006) and North America (2007).
